David was formerly a quality assurance and quality control Field Engineer (Staff) in the Residential Energy & Environmental Services division of Lockheed Martin.
He holds both a Master of Divinity and Master of Science degrees, and previously was an application engineer for numerous Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, both in California and Missouri.

David has also a volunteered his services to Habitat for Humanity.
Show Me Home Energy Solutions llc is the culmination of what started as an erstwhile hobby, and as a return to a family tradition in the building trades. Seeking to play his part in reducing his own dependence on foreign oil, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as well as to reduce utility costs, David began studying building science and implementing its principles in his own home, making the home more energy efficient, comfortable and safe.
David lives in an 90 year-old home in Webster Groves. He is active in his community, currently serving as the Chairperson of the Parks & Recreation Commission for the City of Webster Groves, and as the Chairperson of the City's Sustainability Commission. He is a former President of the Webster Groves Nature Study Society and a former Treasurer for the St. Louis Audubon Society.
